Pittsburgh Magazine: Brian Gongaware is 4-Time Recipient of Five Star Wealth Manager Award

Pittsburgh, PA – Pittsburgh Magazine, a monthly publication with an ever-growing quarter-million readers, has once again listed McKinley Carter’s Brian Gongaware, in their July 2012 issue: Five Star Wealth Managers. This is the 4th time Gongaware has received this award.

The 2012 Five Star Wealth Managers are a select group, representing less than 5% of the wealth managers in the Pittsburgh area. In order to be considered, award candidates must have either been nominated by their firm, nominated by a peer, or must have been pre-qualified based on industry standing. Self-nominations were not accepted. Award candidates were evaluated against 10 objective criteria such as client retention rates, client assets administered and a favorable regulatory and complaint history.

Gongaware, Principal and Regional Managing Director for McKinley Carter Wealth Services, holds a bachelor's degree in financial planning from Grove City College and an M.B.A. from Duquesne University in Finance and Management. He has also completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) licensing requirements, is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and currently serves as President-Elect for the Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh.

Prior to McKinley Carter, Brian was the president and senior relationship manager of NetWorth Investment Advisors, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the firm, new business development and serving as a wealth advisor/client relationship manager. In May 2009, NetWorth Investment Advisors joined forces with McKinley Carter Wealth Services.
