Emma Jacqueline Lawson (Jackie) is a Financial Strategist with McKinley Carter and has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry.

She began her career in 1979 working for the Bank of WV (now BB&T).  Ten years later she worked as a foreclosure administrator before beginning her career working with the financial markets.  In 1990 she worked as client administrator for one of the largest broker-dealers in the nation and then went on to become vice president and financial advisor for one of the largest investment firms in the industry. There she gained extensive experience assisting clients with estates, trusts, and retirement planning. Today, she especially enjoys assisting senior citizens in determining if all aspects of their estates are in place.

Jackie attended West Virginia State University. Currently, she is a member of the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and is a supporter of American Diabetes Association, Humane Society of the U.S., and National Wildlife Federation.
