Operations Administrator – Tier 1 (Wheeling, WV)

McKinley Carter Wealth Services (MCWS), the largest Registered Investment Advisor in West Virginia, provides financial planning, wealth/investment management, and other services to individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. The firm is seeking a Tier I Operations Administrator in its corporate headquarters in Wheeling, WV.

The ideal candidate is a positive, team-oriented professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. His or her sharp attention to detail will play a major role in the team’s success of maintaining accuracy of client accounts and flawless execution of trades.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations;
  • Experience within the financial services industry (RIA, Broker/Dealer, Bank) a plus;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and internet-based software programs;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Enthusiasm for working as part of a high-performing team;
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities;
  • Sharp attention to detail; and
  • Reliable and consistent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Daily administration of client accounts;
  • Coding of accounts within portfolio accounting system;
  • Implementation of investment strategies;
  • Investment of new deposits;
  • Monthly fee billing; and
  • Reconciliation of custodial data.

MCWS is flexible on the position status (i.e. full-time or part-time) and is more committed to finding the right person for the job. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The firm offers an excellent benefits package for employees working more than 30 hours, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).

Administrative Coordinator / Receptionist (Charleston, WV)
 
McKinley Carter Wealth Services (MCWS) is seeking an Administrative Coordinator/Receptionist to be responsible for client services, administrative duties and to contribute to the Advisory Team in its Charleston, WV office. Job duties include:

  • Process client paperwork for new and existing accounts
  • Prepare materials for client meetings
  • Coordinating phones
  • Coordinating office resources and supplies. 
  • Take pride and ownership in the appearance of the office.
  • Following established firm-wide standard practices and procedures
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of client service experience (financial services industry preferred)
  • Technologically proficient
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
Compensation is commensurate with experience. In addition, MCWS offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a generous paid time off package, as well as a 401(k).
