Nicole Gabriel is a Financial Strategist for McKinley Carter Wealth Services, housed in our Pittsburgh office. Nicole has an extensive background in the financial services industry, having begun her professional career at Mellon Financial Corporation (now Bank of New York Mellon) as an officer in the managed accounts department. After four years, Nicole left Mellon to take a position with Snow Capital Management, a Pittsburgh-based boutique investment manager, where she served as Portfolio Administrator for 11 years. At Snow, Nicole was responsible for the daily reconcilement of over 2,000 actively managed accounts with assets totaling over $3 billion.

Nicole is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in international business management with an accounting minor. She earned her MBA from Robert Morris University in 2003. Most recently, she completed the College for Financial Planning’s Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professionaldesignation program. Nicole is currently enrolled in the CFP® certification program at the College for Financial Planning.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and theatre shows, and taking road trips. She is an avid sports fan and loyal supporter of the Pens and Steelers. Community-minded, Nicole also devotes a lot of her personal time to charitable work. She is an executive board member of the annual Open Wide Open Charity Golf Event, which has raised over $150,000 for local Pittsburgh charities since its inception in 2009. Most recently, she has volunteered for Jeremiah's Place, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and Orange Arrow.
