Brad serves as a Financial Strategist for McKinley Carter Wealth Services with over 10 years of experience in the investment industry.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from James Madison University, Brad earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst through the CFA Institute.  Brad’s academic background and commitment to the highest professional standards uniquely positions him to lead complex investment and wealth management conversations with affluent families.  He also serves as the manager of McKinley Carter’s Investment Services Council which is tasked with overseeing the design, communication, and implementation of the firm’s comprehensive investment programs.

Since returning to Charleston in 2013, Brad has been actively involved in many social and professional organizations, including serving on the board of directors for many local non-profit organizations and participating in numerous fundraising efforts supporting key organizations in the Kanawha Valley.  Brad is an active member of the CFA Society of Washington, DC, the Rotary Club of Charleston, and the Charleston Estate Planning Council.  Consistent with the CFA Institute’s mission, Brad is committed to promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence within the investment profession for the ultimate benefit of society.

Brad and wife, Robin, have a passion for helping others and working to improve the Charleston community.  They welcomed their first daughter, Elsie Foster, in May of 2015.  He is an avid golfer and squash player and enjoys social activities with his friends and family.
